Its been almost 6 months since I built my gaming PC and just about ready to start cleaning it. First off I want to spray it with compressed air. Anyone have any good tips and instructions on how to do this for my CPU heatsink and GPU fan as well as the mobo? Should I have blow air directly to the fans? How far do the nozzle have to be from the fans? Do I hold the fans from spinning with something? Sorry that Im noob to this but any help would be greatly thanked for!

by upright, I mean don't hold the can upside down. The tip where the air is coming from should always be point up. Its okay to tilt it a little bit, but don't go to far.

also yea keep it a couple inches away from the board.

and your fingers are fine to hold on to the fan blades.

just point the tip at the places you want to clean (including heat sinks and fans), just either remove the fans, or hold the fans blades, so they don't spin when you hit them with the air.

Also always hold the can upright. otherwise you will spray liquid onto your parts. If you feel the can is getting cold, let it rest for a bit and then start using it again.

So can I hold it with my fingers and by upright that means no side ways or anything? And (I know you might be thinking: "shut up" or something) but does the tip have to be a couple of inches away or what?
